Of all the ear plugs on the market which do you like the best. I have a HJC IS-33 helmet and the wind noise plus riding behind Harleys in group rides is extremely annoying. I considered buying a full helmet or one that opens in front but for me it's claustrophobic. I like my helmet and don't really want to replace it.

BTW: I found a great idea for riding into the sun. My helmet has a built in sun shield or riders who ride with sun glasses. When you are riding into the sun wearing sun shades you're still riding into the sun. At Walmart, Lowes or Home Depot get a roll of 2" wide pastel duct tape and mount it on the top of your outer helmet shield. It works like the sun visor in your car. When riding in the early morning or late in the afternoon just tilt your head down a little. It really works! You can now buy duct tape in many colors to match your helmet.

For ear plugs...wore the cheap foam roll-ups the Company gave us...
very uncomfortable for me after about an hour.
On my own, I found some earplugs that worked much better for me..
AOSafety model E-A-R Plugs, with the cord removed...just pull it
out. Ended up wearing these type earplugs for over 15 years
in the dumptruck.
Surprisingly, similiar earplugs can be found at Harbor Freight.
Washable, durable, comfortable....your ear-canal may vary.

The Max from Howard Leight gives 33 dB attenuation. The big box is the way to go. I still haven't used all that I got three years ago. I've used these for years and they are the best! I can still hear my intercom and traffic noise like horns and sirens. They are also quite comfortable for all day wearing.

these are my favorite:

-- Ear Plugs - Hearing Protection

I also modify them so I can wear them all the time and still enjoy listening to music while riding:

-- DIY - Earbud Foam Inserts

You should try different brands to see which ones fit your ear cavity best. A few places sell sample packages with different models, sizes, shapes etc...
