Drive belt and brakes - when should you change them

I have 8700 miles on my bike. Most of the miles have been in town. Should I be looking at changing my drive belt already and brakes? I did have the change out my rear tire.

Yep as the others are really saying you should be good for quite a few more miles yet. Suzuki say 14,500 miles and that's based on fairly hard use with lots of town/city work. So it's easy to go much further if you don't go in town too much and don't drive too hard.
