Can any of you Burgman folks give me some feedback regarding doing the 600 mile service on a Burgman 400? I am prone to do it myself, but I've heard some say, "leave it to the pros." Any opinions, information, advice, etc. Thanks, Bob Dorsett
I just ahd mine done on my 400, and on the one hand, on the receipt it said all they did was change the oil, filter, check the idle, adjust the stretching brake cables, check and inflate tires, tighten the exhaust bolts, check and charge the battery and charging system, and do a general ride check. Not so hard, really. On the other hand, it only cost me about $100, and it was worth it to me to have a suzuki mechanic check it over to make sure it was breaking in properly. After all, you probably just spent somethere around $6000 for it, what's $100 to protect your investment?
