The Dutch diesel bike Track T800CDI uses a 3-cylinder 800 CC common rail turbo charged diesel engine from the Smart car coupled to a CVT and a shaft final drive from an older BMW.

The engine delivers 45BHP and 78lb-ft of torque
A 1600 CDI routinely delivers 150 HP in BMW 1-series cars, so 75 HP should be no problem for an 800. Maximum torque is usually delivered in the range from 1800-2200 RPM. Imagine a Burgman 650 with 50% more horsepower and twice or thrice the torque, at half the RPM.

I was looking at the engine Design looks like the Varaitor is in front!! does not have a Cover over it, Wonder could Debree get between the belt or Shoe String could get Pulled into it, But in any case it's a nice design. But i think it will have a cover on the Sale Model.

Are you referring to the Indian in the original post, or the Track 800 CDI ?

The picture of the Track shows the CVT, behind the engine, with the cover off to show the simple internals.

Looks nice and has a good sound. What was the Blue pump Diesel? Whats the stats, like fuel range, Bio-diesel or not, top speed,......?

And over 2.5 hours of seeing just the speedo is not a good review. They also need to buffer the mic so you can hear the bike, not the wind crashing sound. Anything above 40 Kph was washed out by the wind.

It did not look like it's very fast, from the Video it show 62.0 but must have been kph
i guess the first picture ErikDK, looks cool with out the cover!! A see thru Glass cover would be Cool....
