I have changed jobs and the Scoot is my daily the last 6 months. I have noticed the dash back light seems to flicker a bit not sure if it’s because it’s dark in the A.M. or it’s the outside temp? This picture represents the temp does not show the question I have. Other wise is runs great other then F1 flashes. Any input would be appreciated!

fiddled with battery…Flickr is gone but F 1 is still around. Cold start stumbles for 5 seconds then catches its breath. Has to be normal ? Coming from a Vstrom couple years back did not act this way.

I was 420 this morning when I took the rear off and brought old and new shinko to CG for the mount. I worked in medical logistics for 5 years and that was a no/no and now semi retired for laid back outfit. not @ work or riding of course!

I work for more laid back outfit. I have always been more detailed when 420.

Completed this morning. Definitely will give my $.2 in. Had shinko on the vstrom and they were a great option for the paper. Around $130 all in including mounting and smalls I needs to purchase.

Hahaha! We moved into this crib 3 years ago the garage was one of the top reasons I gave the nod, figured the PO was a likeminded man. I’ve been very fortunate In adulthood not have any parts left but back in the 80’s different story. I found the fancy plugs cheap on eBay they don’t look like knock offs? Ha! I went cheap with the shinkos so I’m even for now!

Couple hours to finish up today. Thank you Cycle Gear of Peoria for installation of stem and skin. Rode around block couple times feels lighter. Looking forward to get them going!

on return trip. Brown truck delivered plug in warming vest few weeks ago. Worked out great my back was toasty! 20 miles on the shinkos feel lighter compared to 6 year old OEM’s. Will push on them later this week.

Great photo!!! Let us know how the Shinko's work outplease. I've used them on several other motorcycles and was pleased. Do you notice any road noise from the tread design?

I used the "Raven" on my Suzuki Bandit 1250. They performed very well, and the mileage was very good, especially for my aggressive riding style. My problem with the Shinko Raven was simply the noise, extremely noisy.
That was main gate at work! It’s not much cleaner behind it! I had 705’s on Vstrom and the were superb for the price point they were a bit noisy but tolerable with music in ears! Ha! Thankfully I tried starting the night b4 and it was a no go had to put charger over night and was good to go! I will continue to update how the tires work out.
