Never found a windshield that suited me.

Too much strange turbulence and image distortion.

I tried a couple of aftermarket shields and didn't like them either, so I altered the original.

I tied a string to the bottom center mounting hole in the windshield, then tied a felt tip marker to the other end of the string. Basically, I made a trammel from a string and a felt tip marker and used it to draw an arc across the backside of the shield about 6" down from the top.

Then I covered the front of the windshield with masking tape (so it wouldn't get scratched) and very slowly, very carefully cut along the arc with an upright band saw.

A bit of dressing along the cut edge with a fine file finished the chore.

I like it much better now.
