My husband put a Corbin seat on his bike several years ago and was disappointed with it. Not inexpensive either.

Corbin seats are love them or hate them seats. The shape is good but they are hard and it will take a couple of thousand miles of riding to break them. If you can get past the hardness to the broken in state you will probably like the seat. If not you won't.
I have a Corbin long seat on my 650 and I love it both for comfort and because the long configuration gives me much needed leg room.

I have a Corbin on my newly acquired 650. Really wish I opted to pay for the stock seat, as I'm not 100% sure I like the Corbin. Very stiff. Like the shape and look of it though, and the backrest on it is great. Just got to get used to the stiffness of it, and hope it might break in some.

I have had Corbin saddles on three different BMW airheads, the first one was great after it broke in ( several thousand miles) the other two just plain sucked, had to be sent back for re works . Their warranty says they will pay for one redo, but you pay for shipping EACH WAY, and funny how the seats each required a new cover since the first one no longer fit,
yep you got it AT YOUR EXPENSE.
The company has changed significantly over the years, it's been up for sale for a long time, the complaints are legion about customer service and missed delivery times over on the BMWMOA forum.
Fa get about it ! just call Cary , and your butt will thank you

I just got this in today, have it on, but then the rain started, will let you know, after sitting on it, it feels amazingly comfortable. I put a Corbin on my 06' when it was new and I liked it right from the start. Didn't have any problems with Corbin or delivery. It's great to have a nice back support you can lean against on long trips. The only thing I didn't like was the increased weight of the seat & backrests made the stock seat support useless. I've solved this problem with the "super seat support" which I'm still selling if anyone is interested. Mark

The original seat didn't work for me at all.
I took the bumper off the seat and that made it bearable, but it all fell into place when I put a long Corbin seat on my Burgman.
It's the single best thing I've done to the bike.
In fact, I wouldn't have kept the Burgman if I hadn't bought the Corbin seat for it.
Now, I consider it the most comfortable bike I've ever owned.

Thanks to all for the feedback, I have had Corbins on several machines but never cared for them. Rusell daylong was always my fave. The only machine I did not have to change the seat on was my 2001 Goldwing which I just sold with 110K on it............

do you still have your super seat support ? I just bought a corbin and I need one. Or could you tell me where I could buy one? Could you call me at 318 420866

I'd like to thank everyone for your opinions of the Corbin. I was considering buying one, but now I think I'll look at having my stock seat reworked. The Corbin is just too big of a gamble for me to justify buying one. I live in Kansas City and my ultimate goal is to someday take my 650 on a ride to San Francisco, but I can't do that unless I have a comfortable seat. And I'm sure I don't have to tell any of you that the stock seat just doesn't cut it!

Corbin Seat
I also bought a Corbin "long" seat. It does give me more leg room, but since I have lost weight " not as much junk in the trunk" it has become hard. I use a Airhawk Cruiser and gel pad to help my sore rump.
