I'm on day four of a six-day trip to the Freakshow State, also known as California. :D The trip is work-related, so I flew. Leaving me 1000 miles from my 400 Presto (see General Discussion).

Ironic, isn't it? I'm in this warm, dry place, and I can't ride. At least I have this forum to help get me through the days.

Cheers!

I went to California once waaaaaaay back in '84. I can't even really remember what it was all about. I had some fun and I had some wierdness. I saw the Mulholland Tomorrow Benefit Concert with Jackson Browne, Stevie Nicks, Don Henley Tom Petty and a whole bunch of others. I'd like to go back again for a few days.

I grew up in Santa Barbara...
I left in 1980, haven't been back since.
I've been told my old school is closed and the rest of the town has been developed. It was too expensive for me then..
Forgetaboutit now

Median price of a home in Santa Barbara = 1 mil.

Perfect weather, world class recreation, a beautiful natural setting, and the business environment to cash big checks comes with a price.

I think I'll stick to the Midwest and the East Coast for now.
