When I had my Exec, I added a large Clearview with vent (6-1", 34" inseam) which worked great, and Ikon shocks, which are needed dealing with bad roads and frost heaves. The bike rode smooth as silk on the freeway.
Great deal.
It's really hard to describe riding the 650 - feels like a turbine and your's will get smoother as I found both of mine smoothed out after 20k km or so. It's also a total treat in the twisties where the Power button transforms it.
The best farkle is a Clearview screen in my view . The standard Clearview is what should be on there from Suzuki. Wider and wonderful in the cooler weather and reduces buffeting.
Bernd.. No one responded to your question about the "whine".. the first time I heard.. I wondered what it was.. yes it is because of the square cut gears... I have the same exact bike as you do & love it !
