Son and I are leaving charlottsville va. on july 25. going thru louisville, peoria, cedar rapids, sioux falls, rapid city, red lodge, butte, lewiston, yakima, portland, coos bay, eureka, golden gate on aug 7, on to yosemite, reno, elko, salt lake, then hauling butt to sidney ne., omaha, springfield il. to indianapolis for 2 days, then to charlottsville aug 17. That is if no rain, wrecks or breakdowns. If I need something along the way, I hope someone will help. I can't find this group's tag for members who offer assistance, but I am one of them. perhaps this service has been discontinued. It was for riders needing lodging or other things during trips. I will post occasional updates. We have a tight schedule to keep to. Along the way we will attend 8 minor league baseball games. I put new tires on and am carrying 2 engine oil filters and tools for oil change. Some leisure time evenings but not everynite. thanks, gene phares

Gene, I am inbetween Yakima and Portland Or. I have tools and can find space to do about any repairs. I can hand mount tires too.

When Arnie Solof made his almost 4 corner trip he did a meet up with others and he had a tire drop-shipped to me. He spent a week up here in the Greater Seattle area. We lent a room with shower too. Do a search for Asolof.

Yeah, we had a way to post a Travel Stop. I am able to provide space and some time.

Cedar Rapids today. Saw 3rd ball game. Logged 1000th mile today. Headed for Sioux Falls tomorrow.

We are Richland wash. 4th ball game. Headed for mt. St. Helens tomorrow ending up in Portland.

Headed for legget and fort brag or farther south. Wednesday arrive in San Fran for minor league ball game. We are just over 4k miles.

Our schedule has held as fast as it is. We are currently watching the bottom of the 4th inning of the Reno aces game. No problems yet. We just started east today. Chad wants to combine 2 days and do 520 miles tomorrow and a ballgame in salt lake at nite. I told I would do the 520 but prolly not the game. Gene

In Omaha,ne. Game last nite after 485 miles. Gotta change oil this a.m. Then on to Kansas City.

Sounds like a fantastic trip.

I took a 9 day, 6,400 mile trip on my Burgman 650 leaving home with brand new tires and got back home badly needing a new rear tire.
After a certain point, the rear tire wears faster and faster because the rubber gets softer the further you wear it down.
Keep an eye on it.
