Me too….. I have a carpet remnant just for my knees. I also put a grease pencil mark on the tire to know when the valve stem is in the sweet spot for filling.

Marked the sweet spot with red paint marker. Great Idea Thank you.

The best way, for me, is sitting on the floor, straddling the wheel, and working from both sides.
I use a stick gauge, reach in from one side and press down with the other hand; the same goes for filling ... I use the same type of chuck shown earlier, but without the clip. Very basic.
The hardest part is getting up off the floor.
I also have the tire pressures inconspicuously written on the trans cover and fork leg as a reminder.

I use bicycle tire inflator, a maxi one, with shorty valve stems
To check psi, use air pressure gauge with 45° head
Wrote recommended psi on all 3 scoots- all are different 🙂

Yes, those look nice, I'm going to try to get to the dealer some "cool" morning and challenge him to check the air and show him the text where I asked for 90degree valve stems and see what he says.

angled extenders are great for airing up and checking just remember to take them off , just remember to take them off when done and chuck them in the glove box so valve stems don't get leaky, ir in the 400's case, impact the bike

How the hell do you do anything with these valve stems?! I asked for 90degree stems, but they didn't do it, these are even longer than the originals! I can't get my tire gauge in there!

Check out that Motion Pro gizmo I mentioned earlier. It can obtuse and acute angles.

So...I got this at Harbor Freight, solves my problem for now. Tires were a little over-inflated, but they were warm after a ride this morning. Think I'll order those nice angled stems, though for future use.

Mine are probably the same Chinese quality , 11.3 mm is the stem hole diameter in the wheel, I installed mine facing the right side easier to access on side stand, facing the rear left could interfere with CVT case ??
