HI. My name is Bruce Wilson, and I live in Charleston, WV.

A couple of years ago I got a little putt-putt 50cc scooter, which was fine for bopping around town on, but the range was too limited---and it was too slow once one got out of town where the speed limit was over 45 mph.

I was going to get a 125 or 250 cc, but all my motorcycle friends said that I'd outgrow that too quickly, and I should get at least a 400cc. I did some research and it came down to between a Suzuki Burgman and a Honda Majestic.

I got a small windfall; most of it I put in my retirement account, but I decided to use some of it as an early birthday present to myself. The Burgman was a little more expensive, but had a somewhat better reputation, and the dealer had one in stock, whereas the Honda dealer would have had to order one.

I just got it back from the 600 mile checkup, which it passed.

I'm very new at all this, so please forgive me if I ask questions that seem silly.

I'd say take a ride to the Kanawah State Forest through Louden Heights to really get a feel for her!
