OK, this is my first foray into the wonderful world of EFI so I'm pretty green as far as that's concerned. I know when I replaced pipes on my carburetted bikes, I had to rejet to get them to run properly. Is adjusting the fuel system an issue with the 650? Does the EFI just cope with changes or is there some black magic afoot here? I'm thinking of getting the Leo Vince system- could those who have it let us know if it really is Plug n Play or are there other details to tweak as well?
If the 400 and 650 are similiar, the good news is that no adjustment is required if you toss a LV on it. The bad news is that, unlike installing drag pipes / rejetting / intake mod on your mc, you will find little IF ANY performance increase to the scooter.
We bought a Moriwaki system from Ulverstone M/cycles 18 months ago. A lot lighter, sounds good, not sure re power increase. Are you up in the north? Geoff
I say chop off the pipes where they meld (just before actually) - and screw on some chrome turn downs.
