Just got back from a Suzuki dealer, the new 05 Burgman 400 will be here in November (Vancouver, BC)it comes in red color, a short windshield and no backrest.

Sounds like ya'll are getting the Burgman 400 (Super street) "Type S" in '05.

Yes, you're right, the type S.
Short wind shield, NO back rest, red trim lines on the seat.
Where you get that picture from?

It's from the Suzuki Japan website. If you look close, it says Skywave rather than Burgman on the side of the bike.

Since "05 comes with a short windshield & NO BACK REST, I hope
the price is cheaper than the '04.

Going by the prices on the Suzuki Japan website, it should be priced a little bit higher than the non-sport 400.

Just looked up the prices on the Suzuki Japan site:

Skywave 400
639,450.00 Yen (5,980.33 US Dollars / 7,331.92 Canadian Dollars)

Skywave 400 Type S
660,450 Yen (6,175.60 US Dollars / 7,570.94 Canadian Dollars)

One other interesting item ...

It looks like white will be a color option (at least in the Japan market) in the 2005 models.

Here's a pic of the 400 type S in white :


The 400 limited looks like it may be offered in the 2 tone white and gray along with the black and gray color option.

I think the red "S" on the Japanese site is a 250. Nice looking bike. If you get the red 400 "S" in Canada, you are lucky to have a choice.
