The manual suggests/recommends that the Centre Stand bearings be greased (picture of a grease-gun), but my K7 has no grease nipples. How do other owners lubricate this part? I've simply resorted to oiling with gear oil, but I expect the first wet day will wash the oil away? :?

Its just about greasing the pivot points. Either using a finger or something like a Q-tip.

A squirt of WD40 every now and then. There are only 2 things needed in life. WD40 and Duct Tape. If it is supposed to move, but won't then use the WD40. If it moves, but shouldn't use the Duct Tape.

WD40 is a great product but it is not intended for this purpose, so is not that effective. You could always spray the key points with WD40 and then a few hours later follow up with some chain lube that would work fine and dandy. The WD40 acts as a moisture dispersant and cleaner which will make things easier for the chain lube to fully penetrate and linger.
