FYI:
.
I took my February scoot yesterday with Ms. Burgie. The roads were 98% clear of snow n ice. However, my 1,ooo foot driveway was 100% snow covered. It was a vary greasy ride till I got off my driveway. Nontheless, it was nice to get out on 2 wheels again.

Hate to mention this but......... Ok........here in So Cal it's been so warm this week a number of my rides have been without the jacket  , but it's just so warm and nice. I have to enjoy the year-round riding now as it looks like in a year or two the wife, kids, and I will be moving to a state where I hear that this white stuff falls  during certain months of the year. I am not familiar with this meteorological phenomena and can only feel sorrow for those deprived of year-round Burging by this sometimes odious substance..... well, for a few years then I'll be feeling sorry for myself.

It's supposed to hit 50 this Sat.

I think I have to wake up the Burg. from it's nap.

So what if the fishing shantys are still on the lake, or there is still 3" of snow left.

It is supposed to nudge into the low sixties today. But the roads are still a mess, and we've got snow & colder temps in the forecast for Sunday through Wednesday. I'll probably pass on riding. I can make it 'till March. Ol' Mother Nature is just teasing today I think. She can be cruel. :?

Very very cruel that Mother Nature is. Suppose to get into the 40's here this weekend and low 50's on Monday. However all that salt remains on the road and the warm temps mean that the melting snow will cause water to run across the roads. I'm like Paul, my Burger will sit untill at least March if not April.

I took the car for my errands this morning. The roads here are far from clean. Sand everywhere. Problem is that we have had more ice storms than snow this Winter. We are going to need several days of heavy rain to clear this mess up. It is 61º right now, we might set a record high temperature for this date. But the forecast for next week is dismal, with mention of snow and much colder temps.
