I have a friend who just purchased a 2006 burgman 650 and wants a higher windshield. Where can he purchase one and how much do they run?

Personally I like the Givi for its hand protection.

I personally favor a DIY wind deflector, you can build one for next to nothing.

otherwise, you have a few options from Givi, Clearview and a few other manufacturers.

I have used the Clearview. I found it to have distortions and it cracked 1 month out of warranty. I replaced it with the Givi about 5 years ago. The Givi is almost totally distortion free and hand protection is a plus and it was less money to purchase. If I needed another windshield, it would be a Givi.

I made a prototype that I used for a short period. I discarded it as it didn't fit my needs.

I didnt make a DIY for it, a few pics of the prototype to draw some inspiration from if you wan to make one.
