Hi guys (& ladies!) Just wanted to post my first impressions of my new transport, an '04 Burgman 650. Owning a Suzuki Franchise in London U.K., (http://www.BikeSmart.co.uk) I guess I am lucky to have a little more experience in riding many different models than most. I also have franchises for Aprilia & Peugeot, and having sold many Aprilia Atlantic 500's, Peugeot 125 Elystar (and traded the Piaggio X9 500 and Yam T-Max), I have one thing to say of the new AN650 Burgman. I am SO LUCKY TO BE A SUZUKI DEALER!!!! Sure there are a few bits about the big cheese that could be better (grade of plastics around the centre console area, unlockable storage compartments etc) but quite frankly I forgive it all after feeling the low-down power, stability, looks and comfort in direct comparison to the rest. I will report back as to its reliability, but if the Suzuki range is anything to go by, I am confident I have chosen the right super-scooter for my own personal transport. Can't wait for the new Burgman 800. Only kidding.... Update 8th Feb '04: over a week later and I am even more impressed than I was on the first few rides. "comfort" is an understatement..
