Hi All,

I just received my Febrary 2005 Twist n Go magazine from England. On page 10 they list MCI registrations through November 2004. In the 350cc and up categary the Burgman 400 was number 1 with 208. Second place was the Piaggio X9 500 with 187. Third place went to the Honda 600 Silverwing with 186. These are year to date figures. Just an FYI if any one is interested.

They only list the top five in each capacity:
1. Suzuki AN400 Burgman - 208
2. Piaggio X9 500 - 187
3. Honda FJS 600 Silverwing - 186
4. Gilera Nexus - 154
5. Yamaha XP 500T-Max - 101

The top scooter register in all classes was the Honda SCV 100Lead with 1963 in the 0 - 125cc class.

Looks like our Lardy Burg is not very popular in the U.K. They can't be that bad as even Norman has one now. Hmmmm maybe thats why he got a screaming deal on it.

I do wish we had the same choices in scoots as they have across the pond. That Gilera Nexus is a tempting bike.

The Lardy is about 9th in the annual sales league and retails at £6300 or almost $12000 US!! Which is exactly why it does not sell in numbers.
