This may be old news, but ....I just got an info-notice from Suzuki for
the purpose of correcting page 9 of the 400 Shop Manual where it states
that the correct oil to use in the engine and final drive. The notice states
that the manual incorrectly instructs us to use 90w Hypoid gear oil in the
final drive, it correctly should read 10w40 for both the engine and the
final drive.

Like I said, you all may already know this....since I sold my 400, I
haven't been following anything on this site for a long time, but this
info-notice is an important one so thought I'd post it for your info just
in case you didn't know.

Thanks for your efforts and thought Gib. This info has been brought fourth by other members. So hows the new ride going?

new ride...

....my new ride is doing just fine....you know me and what I did with
my 400....well, I've done the same thing to my cruiser. I've got it
fixed up really nice, done a bunch of mods to it and its all turned out
just the way I wanted. I even have those hard-core Harley people
giving me lots of complements even tho its a Honda....

You guys take care and keep the shiny side up!
