I had the bike parked outside and someone snapped off my fuel flap. Luckily all the parts were there but I had an unusable flap. So I figured I would try and fix it.
I got myself some Selleys Kneadit

I don't know if this is available outside of New Zealand but can only assume it or something very similar is available in most hardware stores
I shaped it around the broken plastic such that when it set I could fit the spring. Remember when shaping the epoxy compound, leave room for the spring to sit and rotate on the cross piece
