Bought a 2008 exec today because I broke my leg a month ago and the wing is too heavy and the hayabusa is too
uncomfortable. It has only 6k miles on it so should be reliable. Did a 2 hour ride with the gimpy leg and was good to go!

insp03,

Question, how did you purchase a 2012 Burgman 650 in the middle of March 2011? Just curious. :)

You are just a few miles north. :D

I too have a physical issue that has kept me off normal Jap style (Crotch Rocket) bikes or the big euro bikes. I bought this current 08 just after I crashed my 2nd Burgman, also an 08. It was 3 months before I could ride it. I had busted my right side: shin, three lower ribs, elbow, knee cap, and thumb. Left elbow and thumb were also damaged as well as a concussion. So riding hurt was normal for a while.

I have my enhanced drivers license so sometime this summer give a shout and some of us "Southerners" may meet up for a ride.

insp03,

The reason I asked about your purchase of your 2012 650 is that your profile at the side of your post says that you purchased it the 18 of March 2011.

That might be a plan! By the way I'm also retired military, played in the Airforce and Navy bands.

Thank you for your service to your country. Canada and USA and many other country's work hand in hand to keep us all safe and free.

Hornhonker, let me guess, Trombone? There are so many horns used in all music that you just don't think about it when you hear it. The trombone is ONE of the most heard horns, but ignored as background filler.
