What is torque for the camshaft retainer? If that's the correct term. I'm going to do the valve check & adjust. :)

Hi Mike, yes those are 10nm if you are talking about the camshaft cap bolts (camshaft holder bolts). The valve cover screws are 14nm. When you undo them there is a sequence you must follow to avoid causing distortion. There is a procedure to follow when you do them up but you prolly know all that. If you don't, come back to me and I'll pm you with instructions. It's easy so you won't have any problems.

Aha! I had copied some pages from daboo earlier and filed them. So I have the procedure stored in my computer.

BUT

When you remove the camshafts, what happens to the cam chain, why doesn't it fall into the cavity? Or fall off the crank gear? Wow that would be a BAD thing.
