Made the short trip down to Tucker, GA, yesterday and bought a Bestam top box as suggested by a few of you Burgman folks. Cost was $85 w/tax. Installed it today and it was not a big problem - just a bit of hole-making in the right places and adjusting bolt lengths correctly. May add the rear lights at a later time. The box is of useable quality, but a bit lighter made than I had on past to boxes. Unfortunately, wifey now knows I can carry a fair amount of groceries.

As to the groceries, you could easily make things worse. You could add Givi hard luggage to your bike. I have Givi E-41 Keyless on the sides in addition to my Bestem 929 Tbox on the top back. Lots and lots of storage. Room for lots of groceries.
