Is it safe to use a battery booster pack on the Burgman?
Mine was sitting for a few weeks without starting and now it doesn't have enough power to turn over.

If your asking if it is OK to jump start it using one of those stand alone jump start units there should be no problem. That is as long as you make sure you get the polarity right when you hook it up. Get it backwards and you could cause some damage.

If your talking about one of those devices you plug into the auxiliary power socket then no. The wiring in that circuit is not heavy enough for the current draw.

too bad the battery tender only runs 110v down here we got 220v.

As emergency device to jumpstart I've gotten the "The Micro-Start PPS (Personal Power Supply) is the world's smallest Jump Starter " it's around 120USD. and also can be used for cars, bikes, etc and to charge any other USB devices you got there.

The Battery Tender Jr. charges & maintains
at a rate of .75 amps.
My Battery Tender Plus charges & maintains
at a rate of 1.25 amps.
I own 1 of each....using the Jr to maintain
an RV/Marine battery, & the Tender Plus
to maintain my scooter battery.
Either would work OK for a scooter.
www.jafrum.com
has the Battery Tender Jr. on sale
currently for $19.95.

Jafrum is a great site. My wife and I got great deals on riding jackets, and will probably buy our next set of helmets from them.

I have three scooter batteries connected to one Battery Tender, Jr. It's OK as long as you hook them up in parallel, instead of series, and the batteries all have similar sizes.

Thanks!!
That's 50% cheaper than the normal price. I'm ordering one now!
Glad to be able to offer some help....
especially if it saves a rider-brother
some money.;)
