I just wanted to share what I consider a poor online shopping experience. It was with G & S Suzuki (gssuzuki.com) out of Wichita Falls, Texas. On 2/14/13 I ordered a clutch idler bearing for my '09 400. Their confirmation email contained no tracking info so, on the 19th I called to get an expected delivery date. Turned out he part was just shipping out that day, almost a week after ordering. Of course, the bike is down all his time and I told them I was not at all happy with their level of service and would be sharing my experience with others so, here 'tis.

This one didn't even feature free shipping! If I had known they would take this long, I could have already had it from my local dealer :x

I feel your pain. By the time you get it you could have taken the old one out and brought it to your nearest bearing supply and got one the same day,

Elliott,
I use free shipping all the time. I don't find it is any slower than when I pay for it.

Elliott,
.
OP was complaining about supplier, not the shipping.
.
As to your issue, I have ordered and dealt with many companies that offer free ground shipping.
I have had very little or no trouble with the shipping over the years.

Actually, I stated wrong in my original post. I had just replaced the idler bearing and had nicked the inner needle bearing so, didn't want to reuse it. I tried a local bearing shop and they said the needle bearing was proprietary. They did not have it on hand, nor could their suppliers provide it.
