Hi

I just bought a Isuzu backrest from Bearcat

I am 6 ' and have always had back pain from riding cruisers, goldwings, anything that has a relaxed ride position.

That was one of my main reasons for buying a sport tourer
More lean fwd position to stop the slouching position and resulting back pain

I have always wondered if getting a backrest would fix the problem

I have only had my Burgman for a few weeks and was already feeling the pain in my power back from slouching

You can only sit up straight for so long

I was also wishing I had more room on the seat and for my legs as my knees were 1/8 from touching the glove boxes

I sent a pm to Bearcat
He responded right away

Had my backrest at my from door here in Canada a couple days later

I removed the stock back support in 3 min
The 2 screws that act as a stopper for that were tough to remove, but just use a tight fitting Philips and some muscle, and out they come

The Isuzu backrest just slides in after that

Well, after hours of riding with that new backrest I can say this....
No more back pain
Lots of leg room
Everything about the ride just got a lot better
Even stopped at a light leaning against the backrest is more comfortable now

Big thank you to Brad for supplying fellow Burgman owners with a way to make riding this beauty all that much more enjoyable

Cheers

Geoff

THanks.. That looks great.. I got an email from Brad & I am considering adding one along with a Laminar Lip.. both together are easy (I have discovered) and would total under $200.. together.

I have covers to go over them. They are almost a dead match for the seat.
