I use a BackALign support belt, with it on it acts as a backrest against the standard backrest when I do lean back.

Good enough for my ridding. Mostly I ride and am not leaned back as in an easy chair.

Plus gives more support all the time when riding (only other time I wear it is at the gym).

The tall 3 bros is just longer ie taller. Given the angle the original hardware, it might give an extra inch or two compared to the stock setup, but I don't know for sure. It does incur on the passengers room however. So if she's skinny, no problem, otherwise it can easily be removed completely when you ride two up.
