Does anyone know how difficult it is to remove the passenger back rest? I am looking at getting the rear upper hard luggage but I don't want to leave it on if I don't need to haul something. I am still new to the Burgaman 400 so I am just checking my options.

I didn't have one on my 400 but do on my 650. My guess is they should be quite a bit the same. Once you pull the material part of the rest off it's just a matter of removing push-pins & bolts. Not a big deal. :thumbup: I found the hardest part to be getting the material part off. The 650 pulls off at the bottom first as it's snapped in. :wink:

Do you mean the plastic cover over the tail piece? It snaps up and off.
