What is the average age of an Burgman Rider? What percentage of the riders are male? I am just curious. I am a 43 year old ex Harley rider and curious to find out. I will be buying a Burgman 650 sometime soon. I love this website. Thanks for all the great information.

I am 55

Hi Guy's and Gal's
I am 55 and I hope to be getting my Burgman 650 on Saturday. I have traded my Honda Super Blackbird in for my 650.

I'm 51, My son likes it but just not his style. I had a 400 and put 3,000 on it. Now I have the 650 and 1,250 on it. Me and my wife can't wait till summer (or spring).

Age?

Hello,
I am male 57. I currently ride a VStar 650 and a Stella 150 scooter. As soon as I sell one of these rides I will purchase a 400 Burg.
Happy Scooter Riding Year!

My Wife, Angel, rides the Burgy 650. We both will be 67 in a few months and this is her 2nd motorcycle/maxi-scooter. She has only been riding since August after we took the MSF course. She practiced on my Honda 600 Shadow for a couple of months to get comfortable riding. When I got the Goldwing we were looking for something comfortable for her as we will be doing extended touring next year. She loves the Burgy and it effortlessly keeps up with me.

Im 34 years old, and my last bike was a 73 (I think) Kawasaki 500 3cyl 2-stroke back in 87. I bought my 650 Burg in Aug. I loved my scooter so much I started this site.

I'm 53 and male. I bought the 650 as a replacement to my Venture Royale. The Venture is a magnificent mc but I don't use its capabilities. I'll ride the Burgman quite a bit more. When I want to "canyon carve" or act like a "real motorcyclist, I'll ride the Bandit.

So far, the Burgman is more than I expected.

I am male and just turned 53 last week, I currently ride a Honda VFR 750 which is one of the best bikes I have ridden but I am having a lot of back and shoulder problems with the riding positions. I wouldn't consider a cruiser and I hope to get a 650 Burgman early in the New Year.

age and gender

I'm 38 and male. Owned a AN 650 for about three months now. Fairly new to riding, but enjoying the Burgman immensely. Still trying to figure out what gear I need to use for my daily commuting. Wife got me some nice gear (gloves and jacket) for Christmas, but they were to small and not warm enough. Phoenix had two nights of below freezing temps - the first time that's happened in over 10 years. Very cloudly lately and rain is threatening, but not much yet. But don't feel sorry for me! I did a 1 hour ride (one way) last Sunday (to Wickenburg, AZ) and enjoyed it immensely.

Interesting question on age and gender.

60 in February. Male. Married. Coming back to cycles after a three or four year lay off. Last bike was an '82 Goldwing that I put 187 thousand miles on. The Bman 650 is my 17th (Last :? ) motorcycle.

Male, 64 in 13 days. Went down to the Suzuki dealer last Wednesday with checkbook in hand, but the store was locked up for a week's vacation. Will make the plunge tomorrow for a Burger 400 if it's still in the showroom. Otherwise, the 650 will likely be the alternate.

I have been riding a Moskito SX (50cc) for a year and love it. Almost never drive my second car anymore (64 Corvair). Have owned a Vespa, Triumph T-100, and Harley 61" police cruiser when I was young. The Burgman duo is too seductive to pass up. At my age, there's not a lot of time left, sooo...here goes.

Happy New Year, and good riding to all.

Randal and Gail Peterborough England : Age profile

Randal 53, 26 years on bikes, started with the old British favourites, Matchless and BSA (500 & 650cc), have had a 2 stroke Francis Barnet, 50cc Honda step through scooter, Honda 110cc, 15 years no bike, 250cc Honda Foresight Scooter (24000 miles), 650 Burgman 3000 miles, 90cc Honda step through scooter for the 3 mile daily commute.
Gail 55, 4 years on bikes (passenger only), Honda and Burgman. I find the Burgman 650 comfortable, but still insist on a stop after each hour on the road, just to stretch my legs. If there is a coffee shop handy, so much the better.
