Avatars......floppy flag for Covert and others

Ok Covert I read in another thread that you want a floppy flag like mine. I can tell you how its done. I located this flag for you considering you are from Alabama.

Now if you want this flag all you do is right click on it.
Then go to properties and highlight the URL and control c (save it)
Now onto editing your profile.
At the top of the page you will find the word profile ...click on it
now right at the bottom under link to off site avatar , paste in the URL (control V) of the avatar (flag) that you want to use. Thats all there is to it

Ok thought I might as well add this for your selection. This is the website where I got both flags. They have lots of stuff you could use as an avatar.

Thanks Allwalk!!!! Pretty cool stuff. jas340, I respect your speedy pursuit of the Arizona flag, and will not duplicate your effort.

However, I do feel it appropriate to use my original home state flag for myself. (isn't almost eveyrone in Arizona from somewhere else?)

Hi there,
thanks Allwalk for the guided tour - I jumped in on the band wagon

Right now the only thing our weather is any good for is the garden :lol:
After Xmas I'm going to hop on a plane that's headed South just to make sure I know what the sun looks like.

I can't get it to work. i have tried to put in the ohio flag. It will not appear.

Here try this one using the instructions above

http://images.animfactory.com/animations/flags/u_s_states/ohio_fl_md_clr.gif
just copy the URL from the properties and paste it into the appropriate spot

If you're trying to paste a URL for your avatar than try pasting it in the other box. See if that helpls. I'm not sure what box your trying to use at the bottom of the profile page.
