wow - that is nice... that 500cc 2 stroke engine is real interesting too -- I used to own the 50cc DiTech and it does have less emissions -- that's amazing that is has the same HP as the Burgman with twice the gas mileage.
Wow that does look interesting. Did you check out the link at the bottom for the Gilera 500 Nexus scooter.

I like the looks of it better.
500-2 stroke

Did you take note of the quarter mile time...mid 12's, that would blow
the doors off of the 650 !!.....and alot of others too...
Gib
i'll take one in black, thank you.
I'm going to write to my Congressman and tell him we want 2-strokes legal again.

Not sure about the 2 stroke 500 but the Nexus is.

Norm, thanks for the Gilera sites. That Nexus 500 really rings my bells. Doubt we'll ever see one here in the States but it sure does look good.

You guys "over there" have always had lots of interesting scoots that we never even hear about.
wow, please bring to the US, Id love to ride one of those!
Got lost

Guys,

Nexus - nice, and I hope we get some in the states...

BUT - I'd like to ride the Model standing next to the bike - thank you...

Sorry,

Rob

Gilera Nexus 500

There is a Gilera dealership in Monterrey, Mexico which is about 125 miles from McAllen, Texas. Would it be possible to fly to Monterrey which is a big city of over 3 million and buy a Nexus 500 then drive it back to Texas? I don't know if there is a law against this or not. Does the North American Free Trade Act make it possible to do this? There is another Gilera dealer in Chihuahua which is 235 miles from El Paso.
Man! That is cool! Especially the "Transmission plus button selected sequential manual,..."

Too bad it isn't a twin.

Ringity Ding!

Why am I thinking "RD400?"
Nexusq

Great link. The girl in the Gilera Nexus photo looks like my wife
would like to look.
