I'm 6'2", and after seeing my nephew's BMW bike this last weekend, I thought the idea of some highway pegs would be nice on the Burgman to allow some extra room to stretch out the legs on a longer ride.

Has anyone considered this? I don't know exactly how they would attach, but I'd be interested if anyone has built any models, or thought about it.

Thanks!

I've thought about it. Was actually going to take a deeper look at the bike tomorrow to see what could be done.

Flint,

I'm so short (5'1") that I use the full curvy part of the frame (to either side of the front wheel) as my "highway peg" position. But I can see how that might not work for you. Good luck!

Footpegs on Burgman

I have installed 3 sets of footpegs on 650's. Some welding required and you can stand on them. Joe Wolfe East Tn.

Hey Joe,

Good to see you posting on the forum. You might want to put a post in the classifieds section for your cruise control, trailers, hitches, etc. for the Burgman.
