Need information about replacing the muffler on my 2011 Exec. with an after market brand. What experience has anyone had, and what brands will fit. Also a good source. Thanks much.

As far as I know despite the changes over the years (Exec with chrome accents, O2 sensor added in '07, possibly a catalyst added inside) the basic layout is the same on all 650's from '03-'12. So any 650 aftermarket exhaust that has the bung hole for the O2 sensor you have should be just fine.

I have a Yoshimura R77 Carbon/Stainless on my '09 and I think it's the best looking exhaust for the Burgman 650 IMHO. When I first put it on I ran it for a couple of weeks without the baffle in and found it way too loud. After that I installed the supplied baffle and now it is perfect. It's louder than stock (particularly when you give it lots of throttle) and it no longer sounds like a scooter. Without the baffle it sounds like a pretty loud dirt bike and with a nice sounding dirt bike.

The other system I had considered was the Leo Vince 4 Road.

I have the stainless steel yosh pipe on mine, it was straight plug and play.
you have to put the two pieces togeather, put the springs on, then transfer the rubber gromet on the middle mount and bolt with one or two turns. then you can move the exhaust tubes up and wiggle then into position. after tightening them and the moddle bolt, I put on the back hanger mount.

I love the sound, and on the dyno, there is not much difference between power from 2k to 6K.
OH, and lighter.....
