  • Dark beer has more vitamins than piss beer.
  • Get a few cases of SPAM. Use only as bartering for more beer. 1 can for a half rack.
  • In 5 gallon buckets, 50 pounds of rice and 50 pounds of red beans, 20 pounds of salt dried ham. Make huge pots of Red Beans and Rice. Sell bowl fulls for more beer.

You had to go there. I was post poning even thinking about this yet.
I need to bite the bullet and get a whole house generator system installed. My wife is getting tired of running extension cords in the rain and filling the fuel tank in the middle of the night.

I can/dehydrate a bunch of food so I don't need the keep stuff cold. I've made a bunch of alcohol stoves and wood gassifiers so I can cook in just about any weather. Made a bunch of fire starters with make up pads and candle wax. A good tarp is always good to have.

And... how did you NOT mention duct tape!?!?!

no duct tape... sheesh... I got my eye on you, buddy! I don't think you're serious about this, at all! ;-)

That's how we handled the 4 hurricanes in 2004. We did a whole lot of #1 and decided against #2. #1 made it tolerable 😁
