I need to know if there is any difference between the 06 and 07 and up burgman fairings. I am looking to install 990D0-26JSV-291 on my 06 and the dealer i called says the book only calls for 07 and up

There were numerous slight changes on the 400 body-work
in '07.....'03 to '06 are the same..changes are in '07 & up.
Don't know about any differences in a 650 body.

What is it that you are looking to install exactly?
80% of the 650 parts are interchangeable on most models up to 2012.

I hung all my 03 tupperware on my 1st wrecked 08 650. The only thing I seen different was the ECM mount in the front sub-frame.

I managed to look that part # up and it is a set of side wind deflectors for the new 2013 650 only. I doubt that it will fit 2012 and below models because of the body changes to the 13 model.

ok so next question is the 2006 burgman 650 in gray the same color/shade of gray as the executive model? the leg shield/fairing show two different part numbers for that year

The YHG and YHF are the color codes and they are different. YHG is Oort Gray Metallic for the 2006 Executive. YHF is Phantom Gray Metallic for the 2007 standard.

So all dark gray 2006 burgman 650 be it standard or executive ARE yhg oorrt gray metallic...is this correct?

I went to the Colorrite site http://www.colorrite.com/ and this is what it said. YHG Oort Gray Metallic Executive and Regular Model so it looks like both do use the same color.
