Search for "Scooter" or "Motorcycle" in your area.

I looked at the scooter club and they don't look very active. I'd try looking for an open-minded MC group that accepts all bikes (ie not brand or type specific like a HD or sportbike club). I personally stay away from any that have dues, required meeting or rides, any that "patch" it's members or call themselves a "club". I don't like being tied to just one organization.

Of you're at all doubious about your membership or acceptance, email the organizer. Let him know what you ride and that you're freeway "comfortable". Most MC guys think scooters are little toys and you'll slow them down.

If the organizer is at all hesitant about having a scooter member, move on to a different group. He should be total accepting of your ride, otherwise his discomfort will make the other members so and you'll feel out of place.

Good luck. Let us know how it goes. And welcome to BUSA from sunny Los Angeles.

This one looks nice. I'm not endorsing it, just showing you what to look for. It Accepts all bikes, respect for all riders, no show boating allowed, safety is a priority, etc. I found the best acceptance by the groups that just want to ride. No officers, no Sargent-at-Arms, no club house, no monthly meetings, no drama, no BS, etc. Just normal types that love to ride.

I've yet to find a successful Burgman club. There was one down in San Diego, but they're largely defunct. Just not enough of us to make a go of it. So MC groups are the next best option.

Hope this helps.

Mudur check out this group I've ridden with some of the members before they are a good bunch. I have gone to a few or their rallies, they put on a nice rally. Our group has also met up with them for day rides.

Hey there, Mudur. Glad to have you riding a Burgman here in O-town. I too have a Burgman. 650 Exec to be exact. Love riding around our great city. I also like to attend the Orlando Scooter Society when I can. We have a webpage http://www.orlandoscootersociety.com/ we also have a Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/OrlandoScooterSociety?fref=ts
We have our weekly meet on Thursday nights (weather permitting) and have occasional other longer rides and scooter rallies. Hope to see you there.

We need to get a RTE (ride to eat) group for central FL. I just moved to Sebring.

All we need is a central location where someone knows a good place to eat, post the day and time, see who shows up. The Goldwingers do it frequently. Maybe we could get some places to eat ideas from them.

Burgman's are everywhere in FL. Just get out and ride you're bound to see some on the road. I've never seen a club stick with it... so many are just scooter clubs and Burgman folks really do more traveling.

Enjoy!
