Hi. I thought I'd introduce myself after seeing this site a couple months ago. Your members have contributed an immense amount of shared knowledge and experiences.
I'm from a little town called Moro, Illinois--east of Alton, north of Edwardville, and 35 miles NE of St. Louis.
Overnight I had a midlife crisis back in June--bought a new AN400-- and have been enjoying it ever since. It's got to be the most fun a person could have and not be illegal. I just turned 1500 miles on it.
A favorite riding stretch is the Great River Road---America's new Scenic Byway. Scores of Harley riders did a "double take" of it. One asked if it had a hemi. I just smiled.

Welcome to the BurgmanUSA forums Alan. Glad to have you join us. If you're having as much fun as I do on the Burgman 400, it's hard to keep the smile off your face. :D

Hi Alan

Welcome to the forum. :hello2:

Glad you are enjoying the Burgman.

But I am most of all pleased with your news: 'If you haven't grown up by age 50, you don't have to.'

Hurrah!! :smilebox:

Welcome Alan! Yup, it's legal and it just feels like it's got a Hemi when it tear-a$$es past BMWs, etc.

Keep enjoying the ride. And if you've not ridden before, you may want to check into taking the MSF course. It gave me extra confidence on the Burgie, especially making tight turns. So let those H-D guys duck-walk all over, you'll impress them even more with a tight, feet-on-the-floorboards U-ie! :D
