i already have a lanzar amp but most motorcycle amps are not as powerful/distortion free as they say they are so off to walmart.com wher I can test the marine amps and return if I don't like them

are marine amplifiers usually 12 or 120 volt? I am thinking of using one of my 400 to get better sound possibly.
