Alpinestar boots

I purchased a pair of Alpinestar boots (model -stunt shoe) a few days ago. If you are looking for a sneaker type boot the “stunt shoe” is very comfortable and provides toe, heal and ankle protection, are highly water resistant & look cool. The only downside for some people may be the lace up factor.

Another drawback is they do tend to warp if they get wet - thats called the 'Warp Factor!

This is a silly joke.
They are good boots really.
I am bored.
Did you not even laugh -not even a teensy weensy bit. :?:
Taxi!

:walk:
Hey Al,

How much did they cost?
Alpine Star Boot Price

Hey Bradley, they were $119.00 ($137.35 tax in). I forgot to mention that they have a non-slip sole.

Norm, you must be referring to the previous model of the “stunt boot”. Given the complaints about the water issue Alpinestar has manufactured the new boot so one can walk on water and the boot doesn’t get wet, thus, no warp factor. Yes I have a sense of ha ha.

Norman,

Now show me a set of tires that allow the Burgman to ride on water. :p With today and the next 3 days expecting rain from Ivan, I might need them. :(
Just check the tread on the bottom of your walking stick - don't want you aqua-planing!
My bike (and butt) is parked for the next couple of days while it's raining. No sense risking either getting out in the storm. ;)
Bill, you were cautioned about riding too far south.
I'm still at home... no heading into the storm for me. But Ivan has decided to come visit and thereby ruin my new re-found riding freedom. :( I'm not going to gripe about it too much. A few years ago we had a drought and the areas wells went dry. We had to get drinking water shipped in by the truckload. I'd rather have the rain than not.
