Today I went for a 175 mile ride on my Burgman 400 using for the first time my Air Hawk Like Seat Cushion. The temperature was in the mid 90's and I only was off the seat for minutes, once to fuel up the scoot, once to read my map and third to stop and buy some water and chips. My posterior could have gone on for hundreds more miles because it was not sore at all. Usually after a 100 miles it is starting to get sticky with perspiration and just plain sore. The cover on the inflatable cushion has a web type fabric covering and did not cause any hot spots.

This seat cushion is just like the Air Hawk but it differs substantially in price, $69.99 and free shipping. I bought the large size and it fits fine on the stock Burgman seat. It attaches with two elastic straps that secure it to the underside of the seat. It has an inflatable valve in the rear that does not interfere with sitting on the cushion and is used to inflate to the volume of air that best suits you. On a scale of one to ten I would rate it a 9. I am not giving it a rating of 10 because the straps could be a couple of inches longer to reach under the seat but that is a negligible concern, especially considering the price. I would not hesitate to purchase again and I will be buying a second one for my other bikes. A great relief for my posterior and doesn't hurt my billfold. :wink

I hope to take a multiday trip this month and will update this if any negatives arise.

It is on ebay.

On Amazon if you search with this description: Motorcycle Cruiser Air Seat Cushion Better than the Brand Name 2x's the Poly material insert
