In a day or two, I'll be going to look at a 2007 Burgman Executive, 10,000 miles, excellent shape, etc. What should I be looking for, anything in particular?

Also, the original owner is asking $5,000, which is about $500 over high KBB. He has already lowered the price from his original of $6500. Opinions on price, please? All opinions appreciated.:???:

What you should be looking for is another Burgman. I would offer no more than $4,000. If they insist, I would go buy this one...

2009 Burgmans are going for around $4500. The Smyrna Cowboy got a new 2012 model for $6200. Drive a little further and save hundreds.

My buddy just bought two k7s standards for around $3500 each. Both had around 4k miles. One had heated grips and a windshield. Figure $1k more for the exec. No more than $4500 max. Probably less.

Good luck.

I appreciate the replies/advice. I've still not looked at the Executive, since been under the weather with allergies. $4500 would be my maximum offer no matter the condition.

Maybe that fancy trim makes it worth more.;)

For me it would make it worth less:dontknow:
I agree, but I may grow to like it over time, but doubt it.

Forgot to mention this, but the same guy has a white 2009 for sale at the same price, $5,000. He has two Burgman 650's, one for Michigan, the other for his Arizona home.

The trim doesn't work for me. Maybe it might save some Tupperware in a drop, but maybe it'll make it worse also. Don't know.

I do love the red color. Not many of those around.

That trim is tipover protection and it'll help in a drop. $5k seems a fair price for an Executive model made after the model change in '07
