Admore lighting 2013 Burgman 400 - PART1

Ok. I had some time this weekend and decided to add the light kit to my top case. The following are the steps I performed. This information may or may not be specific to your model.

1. I removed the two back panels and the top panel. Using a plastic trim tool
helps to get the back panels off and the tail panel removes with two screws an
two rubber pins.

2. With everything exposed, I marked the wires according to the wiring chart.

3. I spliced the wiring harness with the included Posi Lock wire connectors. I
attached the wiring harness to the plastic cross member with wire ties and fed
the connection end up through the top under the tail panel.

I wanted to easily remove the top case so the wire harness is fed through a
small opening and wire tied so it wont get crushed when the seat is closed.
When the case is removed the harness is tucked under the side handle and
retained with a snap clip.

PART 2 I tested all of my connections for proper working prior to final install.

4. The connector for the harness snaps under the arm and out of the way when the case is
removed.

INSIDE THE CASE

5. The LED strips were installed per the Admore instructions.

6. The wiring connections were performed according the the Admore instructions. I used shrink
tubing for all connectors. All connections inside the case are push in connections.

7. A hole must be drilled in the case for the disconnect. I chose the spot which worked
for me. A drill bit is included with the wiring kit for this hole.

8. Everything goes back in place and now I have working brake lights, turn signals and running
lights in the top case.
