We're back by popular demand! :cheers:

After being away for a couple of years I have been asked by several people who have attended the previous "End of Summer Rides" to please bring it back. So after a lot of consideration I have agreed to revive our little rally. The last full weekend of summer will be Sept. 13-15 (though I hate that Friday the 13th thingy) so I have chosen that date for this year.

Stay tuned.......Updates will be posted as the "particulars" are finalized.....

Forgive my ignorance. I'm new on the site and just found this posting. I've only been riding a little over 2 years now and have never participated in anything like this before. What does an event like this entail? I'm in the FL panhandle and it seems like it might be doable for me, but I don't know what I'm getting into. If someone could enlighten me, I'd appreciate it.

I have never attended one of these Burgman outings myself, but if it is anything like most two wheeled rally's , you can count on a weekend of sex and debautchery like you have not seen before :thumbup: ( just kidding )

I think the Maxi scooter crowd is actually a bit more subdued than that.
Probably some organized rides , an evening of tire kicking and tall tales, food that will most likely not kill you and a good time.
I'm looking forward to it.

This ride has been done several times over the years.The headquarters is usually around Mentone,Al , Fort Payne, Al and Desoto State park. Wife and I stay in the motel at Desoto SP. There is camping there too.The rides go into AL,Tn,Ga on GREAT bike roads. Usually cross the TN river a few times.
Good people,good times,layed back and not very structured.

PaPa Smurf, I am still perched on the mountain in the same spot. I see your buddy every so often out cruzin' in one of his "rides" Hope to see you here. What are you riding these days? Goldwing?

Hey somehow I lost my login so it's took me a while to get it back, I have ride in Tennessee also, I'm hoping to make them both, I've been in bad health since I saw you last.....
