So now I ride a Volusia and would like to have a Burgman 650.
The idea of an automatic is very pleasing to me.
Is there any vibration with the 650?
Have plenty of pep?
Average warm up time?
I've read there isn't a neutral. If so, does it have to be on the center stand when you start it?
Some have said it's bulky and hard to move around at times. Is that just because of the size of it? It's only 7lbs lighter than my Volusia. Wonder if it wouldn't bother me. It's also 9.80 inches shorter.
Are there brakes linked or are the controls for front and back separate?

The dealers around here don't have any in stock right now and they couldn't answer my questions.

And I am considering the 650 over the 400 because I don't want to go through the ordeal of trading up. I don't think the 400 would be enough considering I'm currently on an 805.

Thanks for any input.
And yes, I have scooter taste in my mouth....that's how bad I want one.

thanks for the input and info. It is greatly appreciated.
Was telling hubby about the bikes and the executive might be coming to the US, not he wants me to wait until it comes out.
I really don't want to wait.

My 650 handles like my Vol did, is smoother and has the "legs" of my 1500LC that I sold to buy it. Now I want a stereo and bar. The rest will work itself out....Mike
So pretty much if I can handle the VOL with ease the 650 should be okay? Hubby said no way on the 400, so it will definately be the 650.

well I wanted a burgman back in march of this year. hubby talked me into just taking his and he got himself another bike.
I think I got the short end of the deal.
I love all the other VOL members I've met and ride with
but dog gone it, I wouldn't be where I am at now with scooter envy if I would have just put my foot and and have it been me the one with the new bike in April.

glad to see that I am not alone in my vol woes...
