Do alot of the 650 Burgman owners here buy any parts, oil, tires, etc off Amazon? And if you do what are impressions of the quality of the products you get in return?

LeDude's got his favorite dealer in Van Nuys was it? I think most of us buy online from places like Ron Ayers, Oneida, Babbit's dealer wise and as far as other stuff various places that have good deals. I just recently through a post on here found a local place (JC Motors) for a deal on tires.

I don't buy parts from Amazon, mainly because they don't sell it and it is often from a third party.

I often check online for anything and everything and always try to give my business to my favorite local dealer, Van Nuys Suzuki, to help support them.

They often match or come very close to the online price once you factor in shipping and handling charges, and I get a free candy whenever I stop by.

I order some things online when it doesn't make sense to buy locally. But most brick and mortar outfits now days realize that they have to compete with online entities and adjust their prices accordingly.

I like developing a relationship with local vendors as they can often suggest alternatives, etc...

OEM parts are sold by Suzuki and are shipped from a few warehouses throughout the country. The dealers place the order with them and they ship the products to the online vendors which then ship the stuff to you. Same for parts unlimited and other major motorcycle parts vendors. The local shops go through the same resources to fulfill your order.

Spend your money the way that makes sense to you.

Final drive gear lube: Amsoil 75w90 synthetic or Lucas oil 75w90 Synthetic

OIL FILTER : EMGO 10-55660 from Partzilla.com , order several unit per order.

AIR FILTER: BMC FM388/19 oil air filter + oil refill & cleaner kit. (Partzilla ???)

WHEEL BEARING : front & rear SKF RSH Explorer serie 6203-RSH & 6204-RSH

Replace CVT stop bolt about 8000 mile or every 2 oil change Suzuki part # 21748-10G10, available from Partzilla much less expensive than Suzuki dealer

Hello from Lafayette, In. I have bought parts from competition accessories, JP cycle and others. I saved about 50.00 dollars buying a tire on line then having the local shop install it. I usually by my oil filters from the local shop but I have used Amsoil for years and use 10-40 motorcycle oil from them, and synthetic gear lube as well. I also recommend the O ring for the throttle. You have to roll it back to deaccelarate but once you get used to it , it becomes natural now that you don't have to think about shifting gears anymore. Be careful out there. Steve.
