We really can't comment unless we know how much of that OTD price is non-negotiable taxes. I paid around $5300 OTD, but that included taxes, tags, Virginia registration and title, etc. $5500 OTD in CA might be a better or worse deal than mine, depending on how heavy your taxes are. Motorcycle sales tax is 3% here.
