650 trip meter. HI all, my Bergman 650 20014 trip meter, when I press A or B on trip meter I thought it would go back to zero like my car does, but it changes to a different number to the actual mileage but does not go to zero, any thoughts please. KIERAN. :glasses6:

Not sure about the 650. The 400 has 2 buttons under the meter. One selects bewteen different display modes (Total miles, Odo A and Odo B). The other selects between mpg and temperature. If you hold the mpg/temp for a few seconds it will reset they currently displayed Odo A or B and the associated mpg. Total miles and Odo A seem to have the same mpg display. I'm sure the 650 has a similar arragement, after a fashion. You owner's manual should have procedure for accomplishing this task.

ok I see what you a saying, but what I am trying to say is when I press trip A it does not go to zero, it does change numbers but not to zero, then press B it still changes mileage numbers but not to zero,
