There's the possibility of purchasing both of these models at the dealer, but the 2014 model has a $900 overprice.

Does the 2014 model have any improvements (mechanical or otherwise) compared to last years that justify the $900 increment?

thanks!

No improvements between the two yrs, except color.
The only advantage I see is the 2014 will have newer rubber (tires, orings, seals) and fluids (oil, brake, coolant). That's not enough of an advantage to pay $900 more, though. Are you seeing any supply of left over 2013, or 2012 even?

I bought mine a week ago, and in my casual search for one, leftover 2013 was very slim pickings.

Depreciation wise, if you can get a '14 for $500 or less difference, you might come out ahead in the long run should you ever sell it.
