My 2013 riding season started on Jan 1st.
Did a sub-freezing mountain pass ride to watch the sun rise. Got freezing rain later that day. :x

Well............here in New England, we have just 2 seasons - Summer & Winter. "Summer" starts in April and end in October...... Winter is about from November through March....... NORMALLY!!Scootereno said:I always have to chuckle when I read these posts.
Having lived in Minnesota I fully understand riding seasons (bikes and snowmobiles) but that's why I now live in the south.
We have a Hot, Warm, and Cool riding season and it lasts all year long. I did actually get 1 Polar Bear ride in but not 2.
With no road salt or snow/ice the Burgy stays charged up and willing to at a moments notice and NEVER Mothballed.
Well........ here in the Great NorthWet we too have 2 seasons, Summer & Winter. Winter starts July 7 and ends on July 5th.v8eyedoc said:Well............here in New England, we have just 2 seasons - Summer & Winter. "Summer" starts in April and end in October...... In another few months it slows down in this neck of the woods (July/August). I call it "our off season". My years in Minnesota taught me to appreciate warmer weather - so I DO!YogiBabu said:when did it end ...????
